Lovina Beach, a seaside resort in the north of Bali, is a succession of villaCoastal ges, Kalibukbuk, Anturan and Temukus, which take place over 10 kms, to arrive in Singaraja, the capital, former administrative capital of Bali.
Its name was given to this northern part of the island in honour of the last king of Buleleng, Panji Tisna, a writer and journalist of international reputation and Lovina means ''Love Indonesia'‘.
Its long volcanic black sand beaches are its peculiarity and charm, striking contrast with its rolling green hills and shimmering vegetation.
Well known for its early morning boat trips "to meet dolphins", you can practice several aquatic activities in Lovina. Discover the seabed, Menjangan Island, the waterfalls of Gitgit and Singsing or soak in the hot springs.
